Engagement Party Photography …
The power of Twitter .. A shout out for a wedding photographer for a Saturday evening from @PerfectAlly (Alison Forster in real life) a Wedding Planner from Manchester. Apparently the party had been moved forward by the client and Alison had to act quickly. As I was shooting portraits in Macclesfield Cheshire studio all day instead of shooting a Wedding I was free in the evening. So not only had I gained a new client and possible Wedding for the future. I also made a new contact in Alison. Which hopefully will be a lasting business relationship … Gotta love the power of Twitter.
On the night of the engagement party I arrived at the couples home first to take some informal shots of the two of them. Before then moving on to The Midland Hotel Manchester for the main event. The had booked a room for up to 50 guests and I was left to click away throughout the night. The clients were from Syria and I was told before the night they had a number of traditional dances that would take place. As you can see from the images this made for some very energetic and fun photography. I got tired just watching them, it would beat a gym workout any day.
I really enjoyed photographing the engagement party at the Midland Hotel Manchester and looking forward to photographing their Manchester Wedding.
