A great opportunity for Wedding Photographers …
My brother in law recently got married at the Belle Epoque Wedding Venue in Knutsford Cheshire, and of course I was invited as a guest and not the official wedding photographer. As part of their wedding gift however I offered to cover the shots of Milena, the bride to be getting ready for the wedding ceremony. I also recommended wedding photographers to cover the rest of the day.
Now, whilst going through the images after the event it made me think just how important these shots are to completing your wedding photography. There is such excitement and anticipation for the day ahead and this is what makes the ‘getting ready’ shots such an enjoyable an integral part to the day. It gives wedding photographers further opportunity to interact with the bride and the brides family. Share a joke or two along the way, making the bridal party more relaxed with the wedding photographer. In my opinion this is the most important part of being a successful wedding photographer.
With wedding photography now leaning more and more to a relaxed and informal approach, this also makes these shots a must. A huge part of the day is lost , if you want the emotions to come across in your wedding photos then whole day coverage is the only choice and its why I don’t offer anything less than the full day coverage.
Take a look through my images in this gallery, all the laughter, that is what your wedding day is about and there are so many opportunities. These are a just a few I have picked out as there were so many to choose from.
In years to come when you look back over your wedding images I’ll bet the photography of the morning and getting ready brings as much of a smile to your face as the rest of day. Trust me I know I’m a wedding photographer 😉
I had a great day at the wedding and left the rest to the official wedding photographers although I couldn’t resist taking a couple of shots at the wedding ceremony at the Belle Époque in Knutford Cheshire.
Great wedding venue by the way.
