Engagement Photography in preparation for your Wedding Day ..
Engagement Photography …
As well as being a wedding photographer I also have a very busy portrait business based in Cheshire called Capture Portraits. This specialises in family and children’s portrait photography. Part of my Wedding Photography package is an optional extra engagement shooting in the studio or on location. I photograph these in very much the same style as my portraits. A relaxed and unposed style, pretty much the same concept as my Wedding Photography.
It’s a great way for the bride and groom to be to really get to know me. Hopefully that’s a good thing 😉 The session is all geared to having a bit of fun which is the best way to capture those special moments. It also helps relax the future bride and groom as they see my photography isn’t posed. Putting them at ease for the main event. The wedding day.
After the engagement shoot the chosen image from the session is placed into a mount. I then bring this along to the wedding day. All the guests sign the mount along with a message of congratulations.
A perfect way to remember your day… Along with your wedding images of course.
Another plus on having the engagement shoot as mentioned earlier, as it gives the couple an air of confidence for their wedding day. If I can get relaxed, fun images in a photographic studio environment just think what I can get for you on your wedding day. No trying to get smile and laughter on that day …
Oh and by the way if you are having an engagement party and would like a photographer check out the blog on the party I shot at The Midland hotel in Manchester.
