Wedding photography in my view is all about the emotion of the day, tears and laughter, laughter being the main one at Esther and Johnnies wedding in the heart of Cheshire. It’s fair to say the their Wedding was one big party and it was my pleasure to record it.
Firstly it was to the bride to be’s house where the celebrations had already started and gave me a good indication of the rest of the day which was perfect for my reportage style of photography, so remaining in the background and not getting in the way i clicked away until it was time to make my exit to photograph the groom and his ushers at church.
The wedding ceremony was to take place in the quaint village of Mobberley Cheshire where i arrived in time to get shost of the Groom with the Ushers before the arrival of the bride to be. Although photography was not allowed at the front of the church I was still able to get the moment of “i now pronounce you” thanks goodness for the long lens..
It was then on to the great wedding venue Arley Hall in Northwich Cheshire and with the sun making an all day appearance (of course arranged by me ) the gardens were the perfect setting for the drinks reception. Group shots done and more of the ‘very shy’ Esther and Johnnie it was then on to the Wedding breakfast and the much anticipated best man’s speech, always a good opportunity for photography of the guests.
Esther and Johnnie were great personalities and the wedding photography reflected this with all the guests joining in to make a great day to be part of and capture, almost felt like joining in myself.
