Event Photography for Wedding Celebrations
Event photography covering celebration parties is becoming a more popular part of my wedding photography portfolio. This is because a number of the newly married couples get married abroad. Which means they can’t always celebrate with everybody they would like too. More importantly for me they want to have a record of the celebrations. That’s where I come in 😉
My job as always is to capture the natural relaxed and sometimes energetic images. Throughout the night, you can really get some great shots of bride and groom and guests alike. This particular event was no exception. No camera shy people at this event 😉
The Wedding celebration I was commissioned to photograph was by Wedding Planner Alison Forster of Perfect Ally based in Manchester. The event was in Hale Cheshire and the couple had arrived back from their wedding overseas a couple of days earlier. A stunningly fitted out marquee (organized by Perfect Ally) a great band, cocktail bar, and a sunny Saturday nigh. Perfect. As a result made my job that much easier. Relaxed and Informal photography was the order of the day along with detail shots of the party decorations, pretty much how I would photograph a wedding.
When photographing a party / event the best and shall we say most energetic part to photography is the dancing and the guests as well as the bride and groom didn’t disappoint, as you can see from the images in the gallery.
