Lancashire Wedding Photography at Bash Hall Barn Clitheroe …
I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Simon and Vickie recently. The wedding venue was the very cool Bash Hall Barn in Clitheroe Lancashire. This was the first time I’ve photographed here and have to say I was very impressed. The staff were great too, very friendly and helpful. Offered me a latte as soon as I arrived and as a coffee addict that means a lot in my book ;).
The bride and groom preparations …
Vickie and Simon were both there when myself and Ania (my second shooter) arrived, so we were straight into it. The getting ready shots was first on the list. Ania went to photograph Simon whilst I was with Vickie. A huge advantage of having a second shooter, which I now include at no extra cost. As I can’t be in two places at once, I know , I’ve tried 😉
The wedding ceremony …
With the bride and grooms preparations photographed it was on to the main event, the wedding ceremony. Loved photographing here as for photographers light is everything and there was plenty of it here. So I was placed behind the registrar to get the shots of the ceremony. These are my favourite shots at weddings as they get the real emotion of the day. I have to say Vickie and Simon didn’t disappoint. Just look at the images of joy and laughter at the ceremony , loved them. And the best bit we got every angle as Ania was positioned to the side pointing at the groom. Another plus for the second shooter brigade ;).
So with the main event covered and the group shots done it was now to the wedding breakfast. The speeches always make for great reaction shots. The last shot for me was the first dance. Always a must in wedding photography as it completes the day. And so it completed mine and Ania’s.
