Weddings in Chester .. Rowton Hall Christleton

Weddings in Chester are always quite special for me as it is back to my home town, and I was asked to be the wedding photographer at Rowton Hall Christleton for Lucy who has been a client of mine through my fashion photography company for many years, although she had a different role to play this time instead of looking over my shoulder at images I would be photographing her…

The wedding photography started with the getting ready shots at her parents house in Manchester and that is where where all the Bridesmaids gathered as well. A few glasses of champagne (not for me of course) whist the bridal makeup was sorted. Always love photographing the make up, I do try not to get in the way of the make up artist though as they have an important job to do also. Some great shots later and the wedding car arrived to take Lucy to Rowton Hall Wedding Venue in Christleton Chester where she would be putting the wedding dress on in the Bridal Suite. Doing it in style then Lucy.

Images of Lucy in the dress done I then caught up with Chris at the pub (obviously) in the beautiful village of Christleton Cheshire as they were to be married at the church there, Christleton has to be one of the most beautiful villages in Cheshire so i could see why Lucy would want to get married there.

Thankfully again i had an understanding vicar at the Church Who allowed photography of the wedding ceremony, especially love the one of Lucy walking out of the church after the ceremony some great emotion. I don’t think Lucy would mind me saying but that shot was courtesy of her getting her shoe stuck in the floor .. Sorry Lucy ..

After the wedding ceremony it was back to the Wedding Venue Rowton Hall for the wedding breakfast and speeches, and ofcourse a few more pics around the grounds of this stunning Chester Wedding Venue. With a large portion of my wedding photography being natural and candid shots otherwise known as ‘reportage photography’I didn’t take up too much more of their time which meant Lucy and Chris could get on with enjoying their wedding day.
