Wedding Photography in Macclesfield Cheshire
I travel far and wide as a wedding photographer but it’s always nice when I’m asked to apply my wedding photography in Macclesfield Cheshire. This is of course is due to it being my home town. This time however it was even closer as the wedding venue was the Tytherington Club. Only a short walk down from my house. Still took the car though ….
Adam and Lia were the bride and groom and came from a recommendation from Lia’s sister Carly. I knew Carly from the Tytherington club. Lia was initially getting ready for the wedding ceremony at her parents home in Macclesfield. I arrived there bright and early to capture those moments of anticipation for the exciting day ahead.
The Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was to take place at the Tytherington Club and I left Lia, the bride a little early to catch Adam eagerly awaiting her arrival. Although I had it on good authority the bride intended on being fashionably late , so I tipped him off so he wouldn’t worry. I’m kind like that 😉 …
The wedding was a busy one with 120 guests and as I arrived they were all being seated ready for the arrival of the bride to be. With images of Adam , the best man and ushers completed it was time to greet Lia and the father of the bride . Once again the registrar was more than helpful and let me photograph all through the wedding ceremony. I got some great natural, emotional and fun images. Especially the one where Adam wasn’t sure which finger the wedding ring goes on, just a bit of nerves kicking in I guess. He got it eventually.
With the wedding ceremony finished it was straight on to the wedding party group photo. This I always do first as I find if you do leave it nobody wants to come back out once they are into the celebrations. I speak from experience. The confetti was next and is always a favourite of mine and with the dramatic sky it made for a really great wedding photo.
I stole the newlyweds away for a very short time for some relaxed and informal wedding photography. It was then on to take the requested family group shots. A personal favourite was Lia’s father with his new son in law, have a look you’ll see what I mean 😉
The wedding breakfast and speeches followed and then I slipped off home as agreed to come back for the first dance later on. As I said earlier it was only a short walk back home.
