Wedding Photography Manchester
My destination for the wedding photography was Manchester, and the wedding venue of choice was the fabulous Lowry Hotel right in the heart of Manchester city centre.
The wedding in question was for Elaine and Chris and my first stop before Manchester was at Elaine’s Cheshire home just outside Altrincham. The bride to be was very relaxed and calm which is always a bonus for the wedding photographer. I do think an important part of wedding photography is the ability to relax and get on with people, none of this ordering the guests about from me let the wedding day flow and the photography will flow too.
Now looking at my previous weddings form the blog it would be fair to say that most of the Wedding venues are set in the countryside of Cheshire , Staffordshire and so on. However city centre weddings like Manchester which was the choice for Chris and Elaine are just as popular and also have many opportunities for stunning wedding photography. They can also make a nice change for a wedding photographers portfolio.
The grounds of the Lowry hotel in Manchester were perfect for all the group wedding shots the couple had arranged, and the bridge to the rear of the wedding venue made for interesting backgrounds to compliment my wedding photography. As can be seen from the images Elaine was quite comfortable to say the least in front of the camera and Chris the groom played his part to.
Finishing off with the wedding breakfast and the photographing of the speeches, and of course the all important best mans speech my day was done and a very enjoyable one it was too. So a big thanks to the staff at the Lowry and to Chris and Elaine for making the day that little bit easier.
Was I tempted to then go and party in Manchester seeing as I was right in the centre? No those days are gone it was off home to sort through all the images of the day , no rest for the Wedding Photographer 😉 ..
