Wedding Photography Merrydale Manor near Knutsford Cheshire.
As a wedding photographer based in Macclesfield I have the pleasure of being surrounded by many beautiful wedding venues in Cheshire. Merrydale Manor just outside Knutsford is most certainly one of them.
This was the venue for the wedding of James and Colette. I arrived early in the day to take images of the brides preparations. The groom was to arrive a little later, so the morning was spent with Colette and her bridesmaids. I even had time to take some images of Merrydale Manor itself, which if you have a look at my Facebook page you can view the full set. If you’re considering a Cheshire wedding venue it’s definitely worth a visit.
After taking images of the bride it was time to check in on James the groom, who arrived right on time. James was joined by his sons and ushers to greet the guests prior to the wedding ceremony.
Thankfully the wedding ceremony suite and the brides room were close together . This made it easy for me to get images of both Colette arriving and of course the apprehensive groom shots. Always love catching those.
The Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony suite of Merrydale Manor is perfect for wedding photography. Very light and with so much room to get some great shots of the ceremony .. And sure enough they are some of my favourites from their day.
With the wedding ceremony completed it was then on to the group shots. Again this was made so much easier with the stunning grounds at Merrydale Manor. I then pinched the bride and groom for a short time to take images of them together. I love the shots by the lake with the stormy skies. Which thankfully didn’t turn into a storm 😉
With the weather behaving the wedding guests relaxed on the grounds until it was time for the all important wedding speeches. It was then a wait for the first dance which seeing as I had the most amazing food laid on for me I didn’t mind a bit 😉 ..
With the first dance of the newlyweds complete it was time for home .. A long day but a truly enjoyable one, hope to be back at Merrydale Manor and their amazing team very soon ..
