Natural Wedding Photography
Natural wedding photography is my chosen style of photography when shooting Weddings. Also know as documentary wedding photography, its a more relaxed style. Which I’m finding is more and more popular. My latest wedding was for Mandy and Pete at the boutique hotel The Vicarage in the village of Carnage Cheshire.
The wedding Day
The whole wedding took place at The Vicarage Hotel with Mandy the bride also getting ready there. Pete the groom was to arrive a little later just before the ceremony. The wedding was a smaller affair with just close family and friends. I say small there was still forty guests with big personalities, so more like eighty then 😉 . Mandy wanted, as the title says natural, relaxed photography, my speciality . Photographing the day as it unfolds is the perfect way (in my view) to capture the wedding day. Posing couples too much takes away the real emotion of the day. Not to mention that not many people like posing for the camera . If you do like posing by the way that’s ok too, happy to take posed shots as well if needed. Any way back to Mandy and Pete’s wedding .
The ceremony a great opportunity for natural wedding photography
The wedding ceremony took place in the Orangery. Such a great room and also for the photography. So bright and lots of room for me to get great natural wedding photography. And Mandy and Pete certainly gave me every opportunity to do just that. If you’ve read any previous blogs you’ll know the ceremony shots are one of my favourites. I just love the emotions of the bride and groom as well as the guests faces as they exchange the vows.
The wedding breakfast
After the wedding ceremony it was time for the speeches. Not before the traditional confetti shot. Love doing this one , almost as much as the wedding ceremony. But not quite. The speeches again were very emotional, as you can see in the last shot .
Had a great day photographing Mandy and Pete’s wedding. Great fun and look forward to going back to the excellent Vicarage Hotel soon .
