Wedding Photography Thornton Manor …
Earlier this year I had the honour of photographing the wedding of Jen and Ian at the idyllic Thornton Manor in the heart of Wirral Cheshire.. The wedding day was exclusively at Thornton Manor with both Jen and Ian getting ready there too. Separate rooms of course and just far enough apart as not too accidentally bump into each other . Not the advised thing to before the wedding ceremony 😉
The marriage vows were to be at 2pm and Jen was starting her day at 11 so I arrived bright and early at 10 30 raring to go .. I like to have a look around and also meet the wedding planner for the day just to get my bearings, its all in the planning 😉 … Bearings secured it was off too photograph Jen and Ian getting ready and to make sure I captured the mayhem. Good mayhem I must point out and I got some great shots of the wedding preparations, no shy brides or bridesmaids on this one . Nor the groom and ushers , all were ready and looking forward to the wedding day ahead.
The bride and grooms wedding ceremony loomed and I set myself up to photograph the vows. I love capturing the images of the ceremony. These are so natural as nerves kick in, good nerves but all the same they make for lots of laughter and the odd tear. Sometimes, actually quite a lot of times from the groom ;). All makes for the emotion of the day, which is just what my wedding photography captures.
With the civil wedding ceremony over the bride and groom were out to a tunnel of confetti. The more confetti the better. Group shots followed and a short time with Jen and Ian. I like to take most of my images naturally as you know, so the wedding party can get on with enjoying their day. Which is the point really and that way you get the happy relaxed images you can see below …
The speeches followed and my day was complete. Jen and Ian were fantastic and made me feel part of their day. A great couple and it shows in the images.
