Now as the title suggests ‘ Wedding Photography Adlington Hall Cheshire ‘ this blog is all about a wedding I shot at the stunning venue Adlington Hall just outside Macclesfield. However the day began with the bride and groom getting ready at Mottram Hall . Not together obviously as that would be bad luck. So a first for me, two popular wedding venues on the same day 😉 …
I arrived bright and early to photograph Becky the bride getting ready with all her bridesmaids. Love the atmosphere of the ‘getting ready shots’ a few nerves and a lot of laughs always produces some great photographs. Simon the groom was just a few strides away for me to keep checking in with him and his best man as I didn’t want him to feel left out 😉 . Actually got one of my favourite shots of the day. Simon taking a moment for contemplation of the big day ahead.
The Wedding Ceremony…
After the getting ready shots I was on my way to Adlington Hall for the Wedding Ceremony . Becky also had to apply the finishing touches , such as the wedding dress . Quite an important one really 😉 The wedding ceremony was to take place in the main Adlington Hall. The wedding vows were given by Your Wedding Ceremony 101 who were extremely helpful to me . Allowing me free reign whilst the vows were said which allowed me to get some fantastic images of the bride and groom. Now with August being quite a wet month this year (see my previous blog) I’m afraid the heavens did open again. This time however the sun now and again decided to make an entrance. This gave me just enough time to take images of the bride and groom around the many beautiful places the grounds had to offer.
The group shots however I wasn’t as lucky but fortunately the hall itself has enough space and interesting backgrounds. So I managed to beat the British summertime weather;) .. I did also manage to get the all important confetti shot too whilst the bride and groom were on their way to the wedding breakfast at the Hunting Lodge. Speeches done it was time for me to go home . Had a great day photographing Simon and Becky’s wedding and can’t thank the staff at Adlington Hall enough for their help. Such an amazing wedding venue .
