Wedding Venues Cheshire – Merrydale Manor
There are many stunning wedding venues in Cheshire and one of the standouts is Merrydale Manor. I was there to do the wedding photography of James and Collette, check out my blog for more on that one … I arrived early that day and had an opportunity to take a number of shots of the venue before the bride and groom needed me ….
Situated just outside Knutsford on Chelford Lane. Merrydale Manor is an exclusive wedding venue designed purely for weddings. You can really tell, the layout is excellent and the surrounding grounds are superb. Great for wedding photographers, though I’m sure they had the bride and groom in my mind more 😉 …
The rooms are all large and spacious making it easier for the bride and groom to get ready. They also have a separate make up area, so much easier for the bride , and me from a photography point of view. My personal favourite was the wedding chapel. Beautifully designed and so much light and room. Loved the attention to detail. I took some stunning shots of the wedding ceremony as the space and light allowed many different angles. Important for me but equally to the bride and groom as the wedding ceremony images are probably the most treasured of all when looking back.
Going back to the grounds the lake which is just outside of the chapel is beautiful. This alone must be a big factor when the wedding couple are choosing their venu . Again from a wedding photographers point of view you can’t go wrong … Wherever you point the camera there’s a great back drop .. Win Win 😉
