Being the chosen Wedding Photographer for Will and Amber’s day at the beautiful setting of the East Lodge Country House Hotel in Derbyshire made the job of capturing the images they wanted that little bit easier. Everywhere you looked there was a great opportunity for wedding photography.
The advantage of having a studio in Macclesfield is that i am right in the centre of some great counties like Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Leicestershire so my wedding photography isn’t just confined to Cheshire.
The bride was getting for the wedding at the East Lodge Country House Hotel before the church wedding ceremony in Matlock. The groom was also preparing for wedding at east lodge so the trick was to get the shots without the two bumping into each other. This proved easier than I thought with this spacious wedding venue. Amber fortunately stayed in the bridal suite, very kind of her I thought.
The church in Matlock Derbyshire allowed for wedding photography of the ceremony, which for the couple is great news as it maintains the flow of the images for the wedding album. This is especially important for the reportage wedding photography style that I do.
After the church it was back to the East Lodge Weddings venue where drinks were served outside, as surprise surprise the British weather behaved itself on the day. This gave me ample opportunity for relaxed and informal wedding photography especially with the stunning grounds in the Derbyshire wedding venue.
The requested wedding group shots were next and I like to keep within the style of my wedding photography so plenty of interaction needed, which the bridal party more than delivered.
The East Lodge Country House Hotel is an amazing venue for wedding photography set in the beautiful countryside of Derbyshire and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Derbyshire.
