Merseyside Wedding Photographer
As a Merseyside Wedding Photographer I get to photograph weddings in some stunning venues. One I’ve been fortunate to go to in a number of occasions is The Hope Street Hotel. Right in the centre of Liverpool. You can see another wedding from Hope Street in an earlier blog , but not until you’ve finished looking at this one ;).
The Bride and Groom before the wedding ceremony …
The wedding of Yvonne and Martin was to start at 3pm at the Hotel so Myself and Ania (my second shooter) arrived at 1pm to capture the preparations before the main event. Yvonne had stayed the night and Martin was arriving for 2pm. I stayed with the bride whilst Ania took shots of Martin. One of many advantages of having a second shooter. And did I mention at no extra cost as Ania is also my partner as well as an accomplished photographer herself. Result!
The wedding Ceremony …
The wedding ceremony took place at 3pm and I took my usual position behind the registrar to get the images of the wedding vows. I’ve said many times and I’ll say it again , they are one of my favourite shots of the wedding day. You always get the most natural wedding photography shots. As well as the couple shots a personal favourite from the day is the little bridesmaid walking down the aisle. Soooo cute ????
After the ceremony and Wedding Breakfast …
Now with winter weddings there is the slight problem of the shorter days. And with the ceremony finishing at 3 30pm time was not on our side . Fortunately I don’t like to take too much time up with the bride and groom so for me there was plenty of time . There are some great locations just outside the hotel. One of my favourites being the graffiti wall . As well as the bride and groom shots, the group shots needed to be done . The balcony was the perfect place with Liverpool city centre in the background. This was also the perfect place for Yvonne’s and Martins final shot with the city centre skyline in the background. Another favourite of mine . I seem to have quite a few at The Hope Street Hotel ????.
Had a great day shooting Yvonne and Martin’s wedding. It was a such a pleasure to photograph them . And always love shooting at Hope Street . Look forward to shooting there again very soon.
